Arnold Diehl has been a business owner in Florida for over 30 years. In 2004, Arnold received a B.S. in Business Administration from Florida Institute of Technology, then went on to attend
Saint Thomas School of Law in Miami, Florida.
Located on the Treasure Coast, Arnold is a longtime activist and advocate, serving as Secretary for the Board of Directors of Florida Cannabis Action Network. He is our cannabis expert and master grower specializing in breeding and organic cultivation of cannabis. He views cannabis law as a crucial social issue and is very active in promoting the end of prohibition. Arnold is Vice-Chair of Floridians for Freedom, a Political Action Committee dedicated to ending cannabis prohibition in Florida by the Constitutional Amendment âRight of Adults to Cannabisâ.
He started growing and learning the traits of the plant 40 years ago. He accumulated seed stock
and worked with all the original landrace strains from Columbia, Mexico, Thailand and
Afghanistan, including CBD rich plants. His heart for the plant and patients follows the tradition of cannabis breeders Scott Blakey (Shantibaba) and Nevil Schoenmakers. Arnold is a proponent of the entourage effect of the whole cannabis plant for medical use. This has led his research into studying terpenes and their effects. Terpenes are aromatic compounds that are largely responsible for the smell and taste of cannabis. They are also believed to interact synergistically with cannabinoids to improve the efficacy of medical marijuana. His breeding reflects this cutting edge approach to matching patient to strain.
From March 2018 to May 2019 Arnold was the Senior Consultant, Master Grower and Breeder
at 3 Boys Farm in Ruskin, Florida, producing the very finest cannabis for Floridaâs medical
marijuana market. All cannabis was produced using organic growing methods. The plants were
grown in living soil with no fertilizer or pesticides. The essence of craft hemp is the artful
attunement of the cultivator to the needs of each plant and crop to bring out its full genetic
potential.
